Impatience for Charleston

This is my second posting of Impatience for Charleston! I have much more done but am posting the different sections as I get them done. It is on blue mitienses paper, with prismacolors and is approximately 16 x 20. Please leave me a comment if you see anything that I need to so to improve this. I also have this posted on Wetcanvas.

Thanks for looking!

'My Hedgehog!'

Here is my next to final touch of 'My Hedgehog!' - Since I posted this I see one or 2 minor things to touch up - otherwise, I 'think' I am finished. I posted it on Wetcanvas - will wait to hear what everyone thinks.

Here is a color pencil painting that I have just finished. I just love this horse. She is an Ann DeMille Flood lesson. This was a lot of fun to do - prismacolor pencils on vellum. Approximately 11 x 14.

Hi Everyone!

Here is what I did Saturday - took a class in Dayton at the DAGSO chapter with Marian Jackson. She is a wonderful teacher! This is her copy from her website - mine is almost done. This is color pencil on Mi-Tientes tobacco paper. This class was very informative and enjoyable.

When I get mine done, I will post and you can compare.

Thanks to all involved!!!!! & Happy Painting!

Impatience for Charleston

It has been a while since I have blogged - I must apologize for that.

Here is a work in progress - this is going to be titled 'Impatience for Charleston'. It is color pencil on a 16 x 20 piece of blue, smooth vellum. You can see my reference picture that I took along with my magifying glass.

This picture was taken 2 years ago in Charleston, SC on our Honeymoon.
